Enjoy the Indian Vibes-Party, finishing off the festival „Mit Pauken und Trompeten“ at the Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz. We will serve our spicy mix of Tabladancehallbreaks, DholStep. Sitarfunktronics, Tabla’n'Bass, Bollywoodfunk and Bollywoodraggamuffins, topped by atmospheric visuals mixed by 20dre and C.U.Eye.
The party starts after the open air concert of the infamous Bollywood Brass Band from London. Brass musicians from London are playing Indian film music? What sounds strange in the first place is a very successful concept since 15 years. Ten or more musicians on saxophone, trumpet, tuba, sousaphone and drums play a unique mixture from new and old Bollywood classics, Punjabi songs, compositions of the great Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Bhrangra-rhythms, influenced by jazz, world music and the vibrant London club scene.
